Setup Driver on Win 98
This is how you could advise your clients on using IRDL using 3th party software available in the Window 98 software.
 | Click the Ms Start button on Windows |
| Point and select Control Panel and then Network Icon |
| Click on Add button |
| Choose Adapter and then Add button which lights up |
| Under Manufacturers: |
| Choose Infrared com port or dongle and exit |
| Click on Properties Button

| In the (Generic Infrared Serial Port or dongle) Properties Page |
| Click on the Advanced button then choose Infrared Transceiver |
| Select Parallax PRA 9500A driver then OK |
| Select Serial port and com Port |
| Insert Win 98 CD-ROM in CD-ROM Drive |
| Click OK in Network File |
| Installation is now complete with the setup. |
| Restart Computer |
The above will install an Infrared Monitor icon in the Control
Panel. The Infrared Monitor controls and keeps track of infrared activity on your PC.
